Topic: Micro/Macro and/or foot-fetish

I'm writing this here since I've queried a few times why people find an interest in these tags. Each time I've been downvoted and credit where due, it was on actual art comments where it may just seem like someone trolling and it's just not the place for conversation I suppose.

I'm mostly just honestly curious why people find this art interesting or why it 'turns your gears', why people find it gratifying. I ask this with 100% neutrality. I've never understood the kink, I have no desire to step on (please excuse the pun that may be inferred there) people's kinks. I'm just curious why it excites someone. It honestly makes no sense to me so after a cursory search of the forums where I couldn't find any other threads was just curious if someone that enjoys such art why they purview it.

I've always assumed it was a sort of 'power play', to feel dominant over someone/something but I was just curious if someone could give their own opinion on why it interests them.

For me, it's a power/dom thing I think. Even I'm still trying to figure out why I like it. All I know is that it kicked off when I was young with one of the live action scooby do movies with scooby wearing daph's boot and I guess something in my head decided I liked the shininess/rubberiness of it and later on that turned into me wanting to be in a giantess' shoes as what I now know is a micro, then moved on to me liking pictures of anime feet since they looked soft especially in stockings/pantyhose/tights and finally lead to today with furry paws/feet. Mostly Plantigrade or at least something with a "sole". But like I said, even I don't know if it's a power thing or something else and I'm highly into it.

Somewhere along the way into my transition to furry, I used to prefer feet from a distance much like Bonk's work but over time slowly changed to me liking more "DeviantArt" style art like ZP92 with it being very much the main focus. DiabloTheRex is the perfect combo of micro/soles and I love that everything feels heavy. Not a fan of macro though. I don't understand why people like city destruction or a size difference that large. Same with micro being unimaginably small.

I think my range for micro would be somewhere from normal 1:1 size difference and about half the size of a foot or maybe down to a quarter. If you get too small it stops being fun and starts feeling like a bug which is another thing that I don't understand about a size difference that big. So much art has the normal size character question if they stood on a bug or straight up doesn't notice when you and me both know that even a single grain of sand would be incredibly annoying and if it WAS a bug, you'd be disgusted.
