The tag implication #52775 alolan_form -> generation_7_pokemon has been rejected.

Reason: alolan forms were first introduced in pokemon sun and moon along with the generation 7 pokemon. this was to fit with the hawaiian theme of the two game versions

I do believe this was rejected in the past, with the reasoning that it's always possible for new Alolan forms to be added in future generations.

It seems a little redundant, but the best solution would probably be to imply the individual forms to their generation, alolan_meoth -> generation_7_pokemon, etc.

I'm sure this request already exists somewhere, but there's so many Pokémon-related requests that have just been abandoned by the admins to the point it's became an unmaintainable mess.

surprisingly neither that request nor do any other for the other regional forms, seem to exist. alternatively, they might just be missing what regional pokémon i searched for...

but yea. if Gen X decides to create new alolan or galarian (etc.) pokémon, we would imply them to the proper form tag and to generation_10_pokemon. we could theoretically get a Cata-style revamp of all the old regions in one game, therefore one generation of pokémon might contain a bunch of new regional forms.

I think that's fair, I might just do a BUR for all these myself in that case.
