The tag implication #52942 hisuian_typhlosion -> typhlosion has been rejected.

Reason:
Because the Hisuian_typhlosion is a regional form of Pokémon, the seperate tag for Typhlosion should also be included when tagging.

The precedent has been to treat regional forms as completely separate species for the purposes of this site.

Typhlosion is a distinct form separate from hisuian_typhlosion. Different forms of pokemon are tagged separately for searchability, to make it possible to search for posts that have both forms (searching typhlosion hisuian_typhlosion would otherwise return posts that have just the hisuian form), and so searching typhlosion will return posts that have the normal form rather than just the hisuian form. This implication would also cause mistags since typhlosion was introduced in gen 2 and implies generation_2_pokemon, but hisuian_typhlosion was introduced in gen 8 and should imply generation_8_pokemon.

This holds for other tags too, like how link_(wolf_form) doesn't imply link, since the link tag should only be on the normal hylian (non-young/toon/wolf/rabbit) depictions of Link.
