This is Husky's friend here. He gave me permission to use his account only for updating you guys on his condition. He was really happy to see many people care about him and he gives his thanks to everyone. Currently, he's in Rancho Palos Verdes going through therapy.

What happened: He was unhappy for quite some time and then he had a big fight with his father, which made it worse. He texted me about how unhappy he was, that he was spiraling into depression. So I told him to go to therapy and he did just that.

Do me a favor and give him a hug from all of us. :)

I'm kinda late to the goodbyes but i'd like to leave a message, i hope that one day we'll see Husky again.

I still feel like an immense douchebag in posting these kind of things since i barely knew him, it just goes for show that i should try to know people better, not only here but in real life too. [/weird rant]

Get well soon.
I wish you the very best.

And i hope the whole situation gets resolved and you can be truly happy again.
That is something of great value not all of us get for free.

I want to say sorry about how I acted in here. If Husky thinks therapy will help him, it's good he made that decision.

I personally hate therapists, but different things work out differently for different people, and they do have some resources to help people out of shitty situations.

Good luck with the therapy Husky, hope you make a speedy recovery dude.

As am I. Just as guilty, here. I know I didn't act like it, but... arguing makes me feel bad :c

Good to see you feeling well Husk.

Meh, take it slow. Feeling better doesn't mean too much in the short term, though it's certainly relieving. You need to track things over a longer period (month minimum, IMO) to determine the stability of whatever changes you've made.

(which is not to say that it's not good that you're feeling better -- it is -- it's just that the idea 'feeling better == being better' is a common fallacy WRT mental health.)

What made me feel down was the events beforehand. Got denied financial aid for college, applied for many jobs but still unemployed, lost some RL friends, and then that fight with my dad. It made me think that I was heading downhill and I thought there was no way to get out of the pit.

But then on Sunday, my friend read to me some of the messages in this thread and it made me realize that people actually cared about me. That alone boosted my confidence to a whole 'nother level. Being down and stuff goes against my character completely. I love staying positive and always hope for the best for everyone so all that depressing stuff was unfamiliar territory for me.

I like helping people. Whether it's on here or in RL. It brings me joy to help people. No matter how big or small the situation is. I do not look for thanks in return, as long as I know that I've helped someone in any way or fashion, I am content.

Glad to see you were able to get help early, and getting better now. So many times people wait until it's too late.

Well, take it easy. I've been in similar, believe me. Try to remember that a lot of people still do care :)

Whoa, that was just as fast and unexpected as your departure. But welcome back dude, quick or not, I'm happy if you're feeling better.

And being rejuvenated like this, I also hope you'll be able to tackle those long-term issues, because otherwise there's a chance that some of them will just keep biting you in the ass. And you'll be sad again, and nobody here wants that.

Holy crap, you're back already? I missed that moment by one whole day!

I feel like you need a theme song or something to signal your return.

It's nice that you're back as the part of the Admins of the Round Table. If ever you need some more time off, then just remember:

You do you. We'll do we. And we won't do each other. Probably.

That's a pretty good poem there . . .

(I only know the markiplier quote from osmosis from the internet, don't watch myself)
