Topic: [Request] Increase user pool creation throttle

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

Currently, users are restricted to creating 2 pools per hour. This is absurdly low. It is trivial to reach this limit while normally uploading posts from an artist, let alone cleaning up missing pools.

From what Mario said on the helpdesk, this limit was originally because the site didn't have a way to delete pools. That is certainly not the case now; admins can easily delete pools from spamming users.

This limit makes correctly grouping posts when uploading unnecessarily difficult, and it also makes it take a very long time to fix the backlog of posts incorrectly using parents instead of pools.

While it does make sense to have a limit, having a limit be as low as 2 seems completely unnecessary. Perhaps it could be combined with the current 10 per hour pool edit throttle?

+1, this limit is absurdly low compared to other limits on the website. I remember hitting this limit often enough even when I was a privileged user, which had almost no throttles at all.

+1, I have also tried to cleanup daisy chained posts using pools, but the current limit makes progress glacially slow.
