most of the tagged posts featuring food doesn't look too detailed so either invalidating the tag or aliasing it to simply food seem ideal

I agree with snake-girl, food_porn probably should be invalidated or aliased to food instead.

The tag seems to be split between characters masturbating using food, food that is shaped like genitals, and a few posts focused on characters cooking or eating... but the food isn't really all that detailed.

Agree with the commenters above, it's better off aliased to food or invalidated.

I say food_porn be used for the non-sex version, as there's already a trope named for that, and food_play for the sex version.

There are 2 main issues with the tag though. There's the issue that people will use the tag for porn involving food, and the other issue is that usually food porn wouldn't include anything relevant to the website, as it would just be a picture of food.
I think food_focus would be a better a better tag, although you will probably have people mixing it up with foot_focus. It just seems like a bad idea to keep around tags that are being used without any consistent definition.

From my understanding *_fetish tags are used more broadly than *_play.
But I am not sure how well these tags are used in practice, and for food_play it does seem to include more than let's say tail_play in the wiki, which is limited to using the tail for sexual stimulation.
Personally I am not really sure of the utility of having both *_fetish and *_play tags, because i feel like they are usually tagged pretty arbitrarily, with not enough regard to the wiki definitions.
