Topic: [REJECTED] Tag alias: pussy_juice_splatter -> pussy_juice_splash

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

I see that this tag didn't have a wiki until you made one, but if it refers to pussy_juice "splashing" out of a pussy it might be too similar to pussy_ejaculation.
Based on the name of the tag I would assume it was intended to refer to splatters of pussy_juice on a character or object, in which case I think splatter sounds better than splash.

The tag pussy_juice_splatter should refer to splash that does not come from the urethra, while pussy_ejaculation comes from the urethra and is mostly urine.

I did some research and found information on wiki about splatter, which makes it clear that 'splashing' (a character actively making a splash) is a much better fit. Indeed, based on the name 'splatter', we might mistakenly assume that it refers to the splattering of pussy juice on an object. However, after reviewing many posts tagged with pussy_juice_splatter, it appears that they actually refer to pussy splashing (in the moment), rather than lying still on a surface.
Also, the word 'splash' is much more popular, ranking at 8138 on the word frequency list, while 'splatter' ranks at 27181. We should use simpler words for better accessibility. As a non-native English speaker, I was not familiar with the word 'splatter' before.
It is possible that instances of anal and pussy juice splashes are not frequently tagged due to lack of information on wiki about it.

Based on everything I said here, especially the information that splashing is a character who actively splashes, and that posts currently tagged with pussy_juice_splatter depict splashing pussies not from the urethra, would you rather approve better alias pussy_juice_splatter -> pussy_juice_splashing?

I think in most cases it would be difficult to tell whether or not it actually came from the urethra, plus people wouldn't keep to such a restrictive definition while tagging anyway.

I don't think the frequency of a word should be the deciding factor, especially when more commonly used words usually have multiple definitions and so they are less precise. And I don't think most users look at the wiki when tagging anyway so we should always try to use less ambiguous tags.

Splash is defined on e621 as "A splash is a sudden disturbance to the otherwise quiescent free surface of a liquid. The disturbance is typically caused by a solid object suddenly hitting the surface, although splashes can occur in which moving liquid supplies the energy." Which is also the main thing I think about when I hear the word "splash", and the main reason I dislike this proposed tag.

There also are no other tags that use the word splash in the way you are suggesting, but there is the tag cum_splatter which has essentially the same definition as yours but for cum, and has almost 15k posts tagged with it.

it's subjective alias but to me, it's still easy to remember the splatter tag, even so it's reasonably sounds the same even better than splash so it makes no sense and point to alias to more unfamiliar tag
