Topic: [APPROVED] Tag alias: no_wings -> invalid_tag

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag alias #65202 no_wings -> invalid_tag has been approved.

Reason: No need for the tag, especially since, per the wiki page, it either relies on TWYK and/or ignores potential artist interpretations like for Rouge the Bat. If wings aren’t present in an image, then simply don’t tag them as per tag what you see.

EDIT: The tag alias no_wings -> invalid_tag (forum #383856) has been approved by @slyroon.

It could potentially be as useful as a tag like armless, tailless or such. The wiki is still a travesty don't get me wrong, but I can see it being a proper tag for e6. if wingless wasn't invalidated, it should've been aliased to this instead.

I could kind of see it being useful as an umbrella tag for stuff like wingless_dragon, wingless_avian, wingless_bat etc.? Those make some sense, as the species they belong to have wings normally, so it's notable for them to be depicted without them. Not much different from tailless etc. These tags are of debatable utility, though.
The question is whether or not a tag like wingless would be prone to abuse or not. Like, people tagging it on wolves and such.
