Message Dragonfruit either with the vericode, if you still have it, or simply stating that you requested the takedown.

I think I sent one of them vericode things a while back on the first take down request I made and it's probably still sitting on my FA outbox unread.

Then I never bothered with that vericode crap and my shit has been taken down anyway.

I shouldn't even need a vericode. My FA user page flat out says I don't want any art of my character on e621. That should be enough of a proof that I don't want my shit on e621, vericode or not.

I don't have the code anymore. Can we just cut out the crap and you guys delete the thing or what?

I don't even know why I'm putting up with this shit but I guess I'll humor your bureaucratic need for vericode crap.

I'm not an admin but I imagine the vericode exists in order for you to be able to prove that you actually own the character (instead of, say, someone just pretending to be you on e621 to take down your art.)

Instead of getting mad over someone copying a picture of your internet cartoon animal avatar onto a cartoon animal porn website, you should just maybe ask for the code to be re-sent or just follow NotMeNotYou's suggestion.

Your sunny demeanor aside, the site is actually pretty quick at these sort of things, so there is likely some kind of genuine hold up somewhere in the system.

Hell if you really don't want to do minor searching for the code, read the second half of what the admin said.

Unfortunately, I can't do that, since I have no administrative powers or influence (and, in fact, the administration downright dislikes me as my extremely negative record and history of bans proves.)

I'm glad that this issue you're having is close to being resolved, though! When you choose to follow the proper procedure, takedown requests go really smoothly (within a couple days, in fact.) It's unfortunate that it's taking so long for your request to be approved, but hopefully once you do what you need to do everything will work out just fine!

P.S. As a personal aside, I whole-heartedly agree that the character art that you wish to takedown should not be on e621.

There's no need to be upset about the situation, i'm sure in no time you'll get the picture with your character deleted you just need to follow the instructions they already gave you.

I'm sure no one else will post your characters here but just for future notice there are some people that don't check character owner's profile you should put the warning in the submission description.

Everyone here is trying to help get your wishes done but if you don't follow the instructions given by the admins i don't think they'll approve the takedown.

It doesn't matter to us what is written on any FA profile, if we can't check that the Takedown request has been requested by an eligible person we're not going to process it, with the other requests we could verify it without a code, that one didn't work.
