Some of these tags have already been cleared out by me, but are still worth aliasing in my opinion either because they are likely to be used again or for their shorthand potential in the case of clit_* tags.

Specific explanations:

• Not all posts featuring clitoral stimulation have the clitoris visible. It's common for the method or implement of stimulation to obscure the clitoris entirely, causing many a mistag. Some examples from the first page of clitoral alone:

• The clitoris tag only applies if the clitoral glans is exposed, therefore exposed_clitoris is redundant.
• It was decided that enlarged_clitoris would be used to combine clitoromegaly and t-dick, but clitoromegaly was never aliased and has been used a couple times since.
• hyper_t-dick and big_t-dick were missed when t-dick was aliased away. Since the size is more likely to be tagged accurately than the form, it's best to alias it to size. I figured big_t-dick should alias to huge_clitoris instead of big_clitoris since t-dicks are already bigger than clits by default. Everything currently in those tags already has the enlarged_clitoris tag.
• clit_cock and clit_dick mean the same thing (the clitoris is a penis, or there is a penis in place of the clitoris), I chose to alias to the most popular version. I thought there was a different, more popular tag for this but I can't find one. Removed for now. These tags need a second look.
• Uniform terminology for the clitoral rubbing tag.
• rubbing_clit is aliased to clitoral for some reason, when clitoral_rubbing is a distinct form of clitoral.
• clit_suction_toy is a toy that applies suction. It is similar but distinct from a clitoral_pump, which has a very different appearance and is not strictly a sex toy.

Related update requests:
topic #33028 for aliasing tdick -> enlarged_clitoris. tdick seems to be a tag used to skirt around the aliasing of t-dick.
topic #41883 for realiasing huge_clit to huge_clitoris.

Changing to clitoris_lick, thanks. Should've checked the equivalent tags first.

There's a bunch of enlarged clitorises in the clit_cock/dick tags, but I'd argue those don't belong to begin with. Things like these also wouldn't count as enlarged_clitoris. The placement is the only thing relating them to clits.

Sounds good. Those examples should have their own tag for sure, but I'm not sure what it could be named. I don't think clit_dick is it, though.

Is there any kind of clitoris_bondage that isn't tied_clitoris? I wonder if those should be aliased together?

Also the clitoral_licking -> clitoros_lick line is typo'd

"clitoral_rubbig" should be clitoral_rubbing?
Also, I think the unaliases have to be done first?

Can we remove the clitoral -> clitoris implication while you're at it. Very often you can tell that the clitoris is the target of stimulation, but the thing doing the stimulating obscures the clitoris. Or only the clitoral hood is visible and being stimulated, and why even make the distinction between the hood and the clitoris if clitoral will just mistakenly tag one? I never liked this implication and had objected to it a while ago.

I can definitely imagine other ways to do clit bondage, especially with some of the more creative hyper anatomy. It's just a matter of finding/tagging it.

As far as I can tell the realiases are split between the first and second part properly?

Absolutely. Ridiculous implication.

Edit: thinking about removing the barbed_clitoris -> clitoris implication as well. You could theoretically tell that from an outline through clothing or something. Though the equivalent penile_spines tag does implicate penis.

I vote that for simplicity we keep it consistent with the penile_spines tag, for now. Can look at both of them again later and see if there's any examples of identifiable penile spines through clothing. Although perhaps barbed_clitoris should instead be named clitoral_spines then?

Added an alias for exposed_clitoris -> clitoris. Can't believe I didn't notice that earlier.

What's the point of exposed_clitoris? If there's no clitoris exposed, we just wouldn't tag clitoris. Is it for when they are shown clearly out of the hood?

Maybe it was created/used by ppl who thought that clitoris meant head AND hood? Honestly I have no idea. There's no consistency to the posts there.

Can we change the name of enlarged_clitoris to something else? I feel like that tag name is too vague for what it’s trying to be. I’ve seen it used many times for what’s apparently just a big clitoris, when it’s supposed to be used for a testosterone-altered clitoris.

I suggested phallic_clitoris a long time ago and I still think it sounds ok, but iirc others disagreed, I don't remember why though. Maybe testosterone-affected_clitoris? masculinized_clitoris?

I went through the entire tag recently. A lot of the mistagging was likely due to the wikis explicitly directing people to tag enlarged_clitoris instead of huge/hyper_clitoris and to tag it on pseudo-penises.
I agree it could benefit from a better name though.
I ran into trouble trying to name an alternative glans-only enlargment tag because "clitoris" should already refer only to the clitoral glans.

Oh yeah I saw those threads when I started looking into enlarged_clitoris.
I prefer the sound of "phallic_clitoris" but I think it could be too easily misunderstood to mean pseudo-penis, or whatever clit_dick is supposed to be.
Ideally we should avoid gendered terms like masculized so as not to deter people from tagging it on cis female characters... Tho tbh it's almost exclusively t-dick enthusiasts who use the tag already. A name's not going to make the undertagging any worse.

Gotta say, I'm excited to see clit_suction_toy getting some attention! I've been tagging it whenever I see it for the past few months, but it's still pretty small numbers.

Bumping. I'd like to get started on cleaning up mistagged clits from clitoral.
We can always rename enlarged_clitoris later with a single alias.

Be careful with how you layer some of the implications. It's real easy to chain them together like clitoral -> clitoris -> clitoral_rubbing or something and that will cause them to fail.
