i think there should be a way where if a post gets a certain amount of favorites (like say 40) that posts should automatically be approved by the system. would this be abusable? oh absolutely, but just notifying mods that "hey this post has been auto approved double check the post to see if it's real" could just be a 2-fa for it. i mean yeah it'd take away the whole point of having it but i feel that there are a lot of joke images that get passed over by the staff that probably should be approved and for one reason or another don't. has this been suggested before? and if so "Lol." said the scorpion "Lmao."

We have the unlimited uploads flag that can be given to users, those uploads will be automatically Approved. I have it, and post #4470343 for instance doesn't have an approver.
Favorites and such are a terrible factor for something being acceptable, especially with DNP & CDNP conditions. Users will upvote unacceptable posts highly because they like them. VA edits and edits in general very often fall into this due to not meeting our "same quality or higher" requirement.

These posts would still have to be checked, thus there's no point. The same thing happens with the existing flag. If we have to check users uploads regularly, they lose the flag.

People will upvote / favorite literally anything, no matter how terrible it is, if they find it funny.
