Change your IP.
Or do what they said and "Kindly get fucked."
Or just find a different furry website.

It changes about every day anyway, but that's the only place I know of to talk to the furs of e621. Unless there's something else, which I'd gladly look into.

Change it again, or wait for it to change on its own. You got an IP that was used by someone who seriously pissed off an IRCop.

It's more likely that OP did that himself.

There was someone making a bunch of names and spamming furry hate over numerous different channels. Odds are, your IP fell within his range, which would make you collateral damage. You could try peerblock and attempt to get in touch with one of the server Ops.

Pretty sure OP is a troll. Possibly just really stupid.

<xXPonyClopperXx> so my teacher is making me write a research paper about my interest, and apparently TV shows/video games aren't valid topics.
<xXPonyClopperXx> So, I'm doing it about furry and pony porn.

This is a problem between you and furnet. Not between you and e621. Keep off-site drama off-site.

It's called a dynamic IP, and it can change more than once a day.

Depends on a few factors, in Germany, for example, we use dynamic IPs, everytime the router needs to deal in we get a new IP.
AFAIK, this was done to protect our privacy online since it makes tracing a bit harder.

just saying, I'm not at all surprised about random bans being issued.

You don't get to insult users either. So don't.

Did you unplug the modem itself? If you have a cable modem, unhook everything for at least a minute. Otherwise, you may have a static IP that need's to be changed with advice from your Internet Service Provider. Or you could use command line prompts like IPconfig or winipcfg to refresh it depending on your operating system.

You should have a static IP, so you can't change it on your own.
Your router has the ID of yours stored and because of that your provider simply gives you the same IP over and over, contact your provider if you want it changed.
