The bulk update request #6399 is active.

remove alias animation_meme (429) -> animated_meme (1)

Reason: This alias was a mistake, "animation meme" is the actual name of the thing this tag refers to and "animated_meme" just gets mistaken for animated meme, attracting rampant misuse. I cleaned out the mistags for now but there will be more.

Part 2 is just to alias request animated_meme -> animation_meme.

I made a better wiki page earlier because the older one had unnecessary thumbnails that didn't help in understanding (since the thumbnails aren't animated, they just showed beginning frames which weren't helpful) and the description had wording issues, you could have added onto my one instead of pasting the old one over and adding information to it?

If it's okay I'm going to revert it and add the information you added to the new wiki instead, because the old one is worded very confusingly
