+1 for bottomwear. I think they're dofferent enough from pants personally... but I could be wrong of course

That would be an improvement over the current implication. Wouldn't it be better to chain the implications as there are little to no situations where leggings are not considered to be pants? Leggings would implicate to pants which already implicates to bottomwear.

Leggings can, in many cases, also be called gym pants.
