A friend who likes pregnancy brought this up...
There's a very small morning_sickness tag. Theoretically, pregnant ~nausea ~vomiting should essentially have the same content. But is it worth still keeping morning_sickness and having it imply pregnancy, because of the few false positives in that search? Or should morning_sickness be aliased to pregnant or nausea?

i say keep it as it's own tag implied to pregnant. of the 21 post that currently fall under the pregnant ~nausea ~vomiting string, 7 of those i'd say have anything to do with actual morning sickness. (not counting the furry force video because i ain't gonna watch that) so that string is gonna be a bit of a mess to sort through without a good blacklist (or even with a good blacklist)

the major problem i see with this is cases where the sickness either isn't communicated too well visually or not tied too closely with a pregnancy beyond the text, which could skew closer to Tag What You Know rather than Tag What You See (in post #2629890 and post #3491828 for example; the only thing indicating these women are pregnant is dialog)

In regards to the twys/twyk problem: Pregnancy, vore and inflation are already frequently differentiated by text. They kind if have to be for blacklisting to be of any use in regards to them. I think it would be safe for it to imply nausea too.

Strongly agree

Are you sure? I thought nausea is just for looking queasy but not for actively vomiting, whereas a morning sickness tag might also be used for vomiting? (i can't double check for myself sorry, vomit is one of the few things i really can't look at for too long. also why i didn't check through the search results for pregnant ~nausea ~vomiting myself lol)

Updated

The bulk update request #6477 has been rejected.

create implication morning_sickness (11) -> pregnant (40196)
create implication morning_sickness (11) -> ill (858)

Reason: Morning sickness necessitates a pregnant character
Can add an implication to nausea if needed, haven't added it yet because of my above reasoning

Edit: added an implication to ill

EDIT: The bulk update request #6477 (forum #390228) has been rejected by @slyroon.

Oh yeah, that's what the wiki says. I think ill would be the applicable tag actually.

Hmm. You're right but also nausea should imply ill too i think, shouldn't it

I rejected this because you can have morning sickness without being visibly pregnant. Also, morning sickness should just be aliased away because it requires, in most cases, outside information and is covered by pregnant ~nausea ~vomiting, as mentioned in the OP.
