I was dubious at first, but it does seem to be that way. There's even a wolf example on the wiki.

I'm kind of surprised these are even tags at all, since it's such a subjective term with pejorative connotations.

They have been for years, and they're not really pejorative anymore. They're mostly used as self-descriptors by people who like and draw those kind of characters.

I'm pretty sure I saw something recently that's supposed to be a friendly replacement for the 'sparkledog' tag, I'll look for it again. It actually might be worth talking about.

I don't think any sparkledog fans are offended by it, I haven't seen it used rudely in like a decade.

Yea lol, true. And the tag I was thinking of anyway might be scenedog, which only has a couple posts. Though I swear there was another popular one.. but that's probably it.
