Different forms of a character are kept separate for searchability. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to search for posts that have both forms, or for posts that have the "base" form with or without the other.

This actively makes searching worse. Use ~asriel_dreemurr_(god_form) ~asriel_dreemurr if you don't care about the difference, use asriel_dreemurr_(god_form) asriel_dreemurr if you want art featuring both characters.
