Topic: [APPROVED] Azula Who?

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #6814 is active.

remove implication azula (0) -> avatar:_the_last_airbender (613)
create implication azula_(avatar) (27) -> avatar:_the_last_airbender (613)

Reason: Right now the azula tag implies avatar:_the_last_airbender as if it were azula_(avatar) which does not imply avatar:_the_last_airbender. The real problem is that Azula is a popular name for characters outside the Avatar series, she isn't even the most popular Azula on this site. I had to remove or change the azula tag on two posts refering to OCs because they also had the ATLA tag (which itself implies the nickelodeon tag) but had nothing to do with either of them. Should we alias azula to a disambiguation tag later on?

EDIT: The bulk update request #6814 (forum #392994) has been approved by @slyroon.

You might want to remove
create alias azula (0) -> azula_(disambiguation) (0) # duplicate of has blocking transitive relationships, cannot be applied through bur
first, and have it as a follow up later

Fixed.

Wait, we're using *_(avatar) for the atla suffix? Wouldn't *_(a:tla) be better here because of james_cameron's_avatar?

Yeah, a tag search for *_(avatar) has both ATLA and JC'sA characters. Unless Avatar 3 introduces a character named Aang, I don't see the need to separate them.
