This artist currently has both okurisuzume and nekotsuki_th. Their link tree shows several sites using 'nekotsuki noko', and several using 'okurisuzume'. 'nekotsuki_th' might be a mis-reading of one of their signatures?? I get the impression they mean 'nekotsuki noko' to be their art name, but I'm not sure how to proceed. What should the canonical name be? Am I allowed to be bold here and just retag or should I make alias requests and wait?

Using a romaji converter and google translate their name of "猫憑ノコ", there is an awkwardness to the "憑" character. It is neko 憑 noko in both of them weirdly as a transliteration.
The 憑 kanji can be read in 5 different ways normally; byo, hyo, yo, tano and tsu.

"Nekotsuki noko" might be one of the intended readings. They also have a youtube on their linktree using "nekotake_noko" as well.

I think they are using the multiple reading capability to make a variety of correct names. Japanese sparkling names can be difficult.

I can read katakana like ノコ(noko) but kanji are light years out for me, lol. My first impression was some kind of pun between tsuchinoko and nekotsuki, like ne-ko-tsu-chi/ki-no-ko. The legendary cat-posessed UMA, haha.
