Topic: [APPROVED] Tag alias: laying_on_penis -> lying_on_penis

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #8033 is active.

create alias laying_on_floor (2) -> lying_on_ground (4332)
create alias laying_on_ground (3) -> lying_on_ground (4332)
create alias lying_on_floor (4) -> lying_on_ground (4332)
create implication lying_on_ground (4332) -> on_ground (26797)

Reason: Oh yeah this informs me, should probably alias lying/laying_on_floor/ground to lying_on_ground, on_floor is aliased to on_ground.
on_ground encompasses lying on the ground so it should be implied too

EDIT: The bulk update request #8033 (forum #404520) has been approved by @scaliespe.

Yep. 'Laying' is the act of laying something down, like garden slabs. Lying is the act of lying down. The former is almost always misused.

Not sure if we should get rid of lying_on_floor? Many similar tags differentiate between floor/ground.
Edit: Oh, but on_floor is already aliased away to on_ground. So guess that's fine. Still seems quite different, but can use inside/outside combo search, I suppose.

Except not really because that's viewpoint and not location
But unless we want keep on_floor and on_ground distinct, this would be the best course of action

As much as I do think it would be nice to distinguish between floor and ground, I have no faith that the average user will be able to keep the two separate. They're used interchangeably so often that it would be an endless huge cleanup project. Like trying to keep sofa separate from couch.
