Reason: The Nyctereutes genus (the raccoon_dogs) contains two species, the japanese raccoon dog/tanuki and the chinese raccoon dog or common raccoon dog. The wikipedia page is titled common raccoon dog, but it has several common names and I think chinese raccoon dog would be the most clear one to go with since it contrasts japanese raccoon dog. Asian raccoon dog, another name, is less clear since japan is part of asia. I can change the name if desired though.
