Reason: It's the artist's alternative name. They use in on Twitter, for example.

I noticed it because someone decided to nuke the tag:

Since they nuked the tag; wouldn't that mean they should be getting a warning for it?

Or was the tag added to many posts for no good reason?? like for example to bloat the tag count?

I sent them a DMail asking about it. Didn't get a response yet.

A record isn't really needed unless the tag changes are either:
- malicious
- recurring, with no sign of improvement
- massive pain in the ass to clean up
Here, I think it's more likely they didn't want to wait for an alias to get approved, and just "cleaned up" the tag themselves.
It's been known to happen, sadly.
