The tag alias #67786 geek -> nerd is pending approval.
Reason: I know that some people make a distinction between the words "nerd" and "geek" (e.g. this xkcd and Milhouse ).
But on this site, nerd is used much more often (1.8k images vs only 103), and the geek wiki article just says:
See nerd.
This suggests that we don't really need separate tags for them: if there is any difference in meaning, it's too subtle and subjective to be useful for tagging.
Of the two existing tags, nerd is used so much more that IMO it should be the one that takes priority. So I'm requesting this alias so that it's the only one that can be used in future.
