There would still have to be enough indication to tag after_transformation. If it's part of a multi-page sequence and there's no indication left in later pages, it shouldn't be tagged after_transformation, only when there's indications that a transformation had happened.

The problem is that after_transformation is already routinely tagged as transformation: see after_transformation transformation -transformation_sequence. We'd have a huge uphill battle trying to enforce the rule that after_transformation shouldn't be tagged as transformation. We may as well just imply it, at this point.
