Topic: [APPROVED] BBC BUR

The bulk update request #7258 is active.

create alias bbc (1) -> bbc_(disambiguation) (0)
change category bbc_(disambiguation) (0) -> invalid

Reason: I think the internet has corrupted "bbc" too much for it to be useful on its own.

The current results for bbc are very mishmashed: humans with big cocks, anthros with big cocks, shows that aired on the BBC network, and direct references to the BBC network. These are all rather different and I don't see the tag not being misused without some direct intervention.

EDIT: The bulk update request #7258 (forum #397481) has been approved by @slyroon.

Nothing against disambiguations, but have you considered aliasing it to Beautiful Black Cat?

The fact I wasn't sure whether the BUR was going to be about the British Broadcasting Corporation or big black cock before clicking this title is good enough reason to disambiguate to me. I doubt many people are ever going to tag bbc relating to the broadcaster, but the resulting disambiguated tag could probably do with some implications from its franchises.

What should the new tag for the BBC be? BBC_(broadcasting)?

Or "broadcaster", but either works

Or possibly the full name, british_broadcasting_corporation? Maybe that's a little long.

edit: well, it actually exists at least.

Oh, I didn't realize that tag was in use. No aliases or implications so we still have room to play around, but that's a good option too.

I think the full name would be best, myself.

It's already established and has quite a number of posts, so why not
