Holy shit, that's what DotA stands for? All this time and I never actually knew lmao. I never played the original, nor 2 so I had no reason to know, but wow I feel like my life is a lie.

if anyone's wondering the reason why it's called that: DotA was originally a Warcraft 3 mod, and in W3 one faction, the Night Elves, used Ancients for their buildings. these gargantuan treefolk had the unique ability to attack on their own, so the mod took advantage of that by having lanes w/ Ancients to act as towers, leading along to either faction's main structure (another Ancient) that you'd destroy to win. hence "Defense of the Ancients"...
