A dakimakura pillow is just a body_pillow with a character printed on it (or rather, printed on the pillow case).

So isn't the current implication correct? Every dakimakura pillow will necessarily have a design on it, which is then necessarily a dakimakura design. If it doesn't have a design, it's not a dakimakura pillow.

As I cuwwently see it, the design tag shouwd be fow images whewe the whowe image is a dakimuwa_design, nyot fow images which contain a design somewhewe in the image. So post #4269372 gets excwuded and post #621352 is incwuded

Fair enough, I can understand that.

Even with the 'daki as object' thing you have images where the design is prominent or important to the image or the specific design looks identifiable if it was referenced or pasted in.

dakimakura should also probably be unaliased from dakimakura design since dakimakura design no longer functions as a catchall with the implication removed.

Seems wike body pillow design is used in the same way as dakimakura_design.

What if dakimakura_design and dakimakura_pillow both implied dakimakura as an umbrella tag? That way people searching for just dakimakura would still get results
