Since "riding" is so frequently mistagged, would it be helpful to replace it with a different word, perhaps "mounted"?

No, mounted sounds too similar to mounting. Maybe on_mount to be consistent with other on_* tags?

"on_mount" sounds good, or possibly "riding_mount" or "riding_on_mount".

Looking at the mess that is mount, anything with that wording would be a bad idea. About as bad as riding.
