In https://e621.net/posts/4199903 it is stated that that the renamon character’s name is "Digi". Yet said character’s name in the tags is listed as "Rena". In certain comments made by the artist’s account, they also claim the character’s name to be "Digi". So, if possible, can the name of the tag be changed to reflect the actual name of the character?

The simplest way to handle this would be by requesting an alias (option near the top of the page). The "From" section would be for the current tag (rena_(yourdigimongirl)), the "To" section would be the name you'd like to change the current tag to (digi_(yourdigimongirl)).
