Topic: Is it allowed to add shota thumbnails to the wiki?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

I want to add a very clear thumbnail example for the tag hand_on_legs, but the post #4347334 is of a shota. Just wanted to know if that is allowed or if there is some rule that states no shota / loli thumbnails in the wiki. Asking because loli / shota are hidden tags for non-logged in users.

IMO it's best to find the least contentious examples possible, no young no extreme fetishes etc.

I try to have diverse genders in the examples too because there are some monosexual folks that blacklist just straight up male or female.

Let's keep wikis SFW where applicable; they're used on both e621 and e926.

Ok, thanks guys! Yeah I was thinking this wouldn't fly. Better to ask first before someone gets mad ๐Ÿ˜‚

I assume the thumbnails in the wiki circumvent all blacklists and even hidden tags?

They don't, but ideally everyone should be able to see the examples in the wiki without needing to disable their blacklist. That is not always possible, but generally we try to achieve that goal.

Best practise when giving examples for a wiki page is to avoid using examples that have contentious content or fetishes.

As someone who has made a lot of wiki pages, I try to only use Safe, or "Soft-Questionable" images, unless the page describes something Explicit.
