Reason: I changed all my usernames so that it is the same everywhere, on Twitter, YouTube and Deviantart, for easy access and easy finding, the only thing missing is this profile that I would like to please change to my new name @Loowdyrt...pretty pleeeeease

But I still have a question, will the tag be changed anyway if I don't do it that way? I mean, just by requesting the alias change and enough votes the tag can be changed? (I'm new here and I don't know how voting to change the artist_tag works)

You don't need to verify, but it does speed up the process. Alias approvals don't hinge on number of votes, but the validity of the alias (and yes yours is valid)

The alias will go through regardless of whether you verify or not. Voting is basically there to give the approving Admin a way to gauge public opinion, but they aren't obligated to follow it.

(Also, sorry about any confusion. As SNP noticed, I didn't edit my post properly when you first saw it. ...And it seems I'm currently more tired than I thought, hence the multiple edits to this post.)

(btw don't worry when I saw it I thought you were giving me an example or that it was a little mistake but I understood what you meant)
