From what I can see even the posts with torn clothing contain muscled characters, it might be safe to just alias it to muscles instead. If you like I'll have another look through them and re-tag images with no muscled characters to torn_clothing.

There's quite a lot of them. Almost everything under ripped -muscled, for starters. I think it'd be best to invalidate it.

That's true. I would be happy to re-tag everything but if you think it makes more sense to invalidate it I'll go with that. +1

+1 for invalidating it

The alias would be done with future taggers in mind. It's pretty simple to pull out non-muscled characters and then move the rest afterwards in bulk, but seeing as there is such a mix alrady and no reason to believe someone will think it is clothing or muscles any less in the future, it would probably be better to invalidate it than to alias it to either tag.

I also want to bring up the issue of ripping vs rip. The answer is obvious, right? Alias ripping to rip! Except rip is occasionally used to indicate that an image is a memorial (r.i.p.).
Then what? Alias rip to tear to avoid confusion? Well that's been aliased to tears, as in, crying (a tag choice that would have caused less confusion).
Maybe torn would work.

Tagged out and approved invalidation.
Fur fun: It was at ~500 posts, ripped -muscles -torn_clothing brought it down to 10 posts :P
