I was under the impression they did? But maybe they just barely miss the cutoff since they were posted in 2015. If that's not it I'm not sure I'm fond of the precedent set there, tbh. Lot of old posts are low quality, but I don't think they should be deleted after like 9-10 years of being active on the site :P

they were like really shitty quality MS Paint drawings, the other posts by the same artist were deleted pretty soon after upload. not sure why NMNY and Mittsies (Mittsies used to be a mod?) decided that those two were worth keeping at the time.

Yeah, I have no clue then. Weiiiird. Maybe it was a mistake? Given the others were deleted by NMNY...

Also the grandfathering change was for humans in jan 2015 because of a human ban, the low quality lockdown was during 2013

I did talk with NotMeNotYou before deleting them.
The leading theory was that the first one was accidentally approved, and the other was approved because the first one was approved.
But yeah, both were deleted because they didn't fall under any of the grandfather rules.
