I kinda thought living_* was more for objects like toys and vehicles and *_creature was more for... creatures made out of other substances? Like water or lava etc. I'm sorry, I don't know how to put it into words better lol. I think you're right we should probably make them all the same.

If we do set a standard I'd vote for living_*, I think. Plushie_creature and car_creature sound weird, but living_water and living_fire sound ok to me. And no need to worry about an awkward "living_plant" situation since we have flora_fauna.
Edit: actually plushie_creature and car_creature are probably fine too, idk what I was talking about

And then there's latex creature and living latex where the former implies the latter.

so, like, if it'd lack form without being alive it's an x_creature
if it's something whose existing form was given life it's living_x _{(unless its a skeleton, and then we use animated_skeleton, I guess)}
