create alias ping_pong (1) -> table_tennis (33)
create alias ping_pong_paddle (0) -> table_tennis_paddle (22)
create alias ping_pong_ball (2) -> table_tennis_ball (28)
create alias ping_pong_table (3) -> table_tennis_table (7)
create implication table_tennis (33) -> sport (7072)
create implication table_tennis_ball (28) -> ball (15089)
create implication table_tennis_table (7) -> table (44249)

Reason: Table tennis and ping pong are two names for the same sport, table tennis is the more broadly used name (and what it's called in the Olympics) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Table_tennis.

Some basic implications as well: table tennis is a sport, a table tennis ball is a ball, and a table tennis table is a table.

While the terms ping_pong and table_tennis are often used interchangeably, there are some differences in how it's played, that being in the racket material and scoring system. Both have their own world championships as well.

Is there literally any way to tell the difference via TWYS? it doesn't seem like it. I don't think these slight definitional minutiae are really relevant for our purposes.

Ping pong redirects to table tennis on Wikipedia, and the the site you linked even says:

Whoever talks about “Ping Pong” nowadays means 99% table tennis on hobby level or – in my case – a slight modification of table tennis.

In common language, especially when talking about accessories and tips, table tennis and “ping pong” will remain interchangeable terms.
