I found a post that was posted by the artist here however on the artist inkbunny profile there is a much higher quality version of that same post. is there any rules to posting the higher quality version when the artist posted it? they are not in the dnp list. but i dont necessarily want to be a dick taking their post.

Artist's posts don't get special treatment outside of C-DNP and paywalled material. E621 isn't a personal gallery site. What we care about is having the best quality version possible within reason (like no pirated paysite versions). If you find a better quality version of a post a non-C-DNP/non-DNP artist has uploaded here, then you are free to replace it.
