It's based on a meme because it is a meme. Some of the posts are mistagged because they aren't copying the pose of the meme.

It's like i_love_when_ppl_draw_ships_like_this vs after_sex_smoking. One is referencing a specific image.

Most of them should be changed to offscreen_sex + foot_focus as they aren't referencing the original sequence, just it's basic idea.
offscreen_leg_sex isn't a great name either as it suggests something similar to thigh_sex.
I think the meme tag should stay as is, and its "basic idea" should be called below_crotch_offscreen_sex (suggestions welcome).

I’m just gonna reject the alias on the basis that epic_poggers_amongus (or some variant of that) should remain in use for posts directly referencing the original meme. It is essentially a meme tag and should remain in use for the actual meme.

It is true that most of the posts under the tag currently aren’t direct references and aren’t really anything more than sex scenes cropped to the characters’ legs, so you are welcome to create a new tag for the concept and move the relevant posts over to it.

Now, there remains the question of what to call it. It’s hard to think of anything that isn’t particularly ambiguous or unwieldy. The best thing I can think of right now would be something like leg_cropped_sex. Feel free to discuss options.
