Providing off-site proof makes the approving Admin's job much easier. They've got to be sure it's the same person and that the alias is going in the right direction. That's why it's important to lay out the evidence before them.

To illustrate Strikerman's advice, their BlackClown00 FA has a link to their BlackClownOwO Twitter. The BlackClown00 Twitter is dead, even on the Wayback Machine. Other links on their FA include one to their BlackClwn Telegram and one to their blackclown Ko-Fi.

Taking a look at their linktree there's quite the number of aliases and I'm not sure which ones are favored

Actually, it seems they like Black-kun, with it being their twitter display name , linktree display name, Plurk display name , itch.io url (link does not load for me), blue sky's display and username

Though sometimes they go by Black, like on patreon or kofi

Would black-kun require a suffix or would it be unique enough? I'm leaning towards aliasing towards this name

Using black-kun seems like a reasonable route to go. We can't really use black or black_(artist) due to their genericness. I think black-kun is unique enough to not need a suffix, but someone else may differ.
