Reason: SCP-1788 — The Adults are a species of posthumans from the SCP Foundation website.
- Ordinary prepubescent humans become SCP-1788 through an unknown metamorphosis due to intervention of other SCP-1788 before they could undergo puberty. Because of this interference, the new SCP-1788 grow a second heart in their abdomen, a second brain in their chest, four arms, denser muscle tissue, valves in their veins to prevent blood loss, and become obese by adulthood. Their children will grow into normal humans unless the parents repeat the process.
- SCP-1788 live among humanity, either alone or in families but never in a greater than 1:100,000 population to humans. They all exhibit malignant narcissism and psychopathy, and consider themselves to be the true adult form of humans. They become violently repulsed by pedophilia (ironically they are commonly mistaken for pedophiles when caught scouting and isolating children to turn into SCP-1788), which they perceive as extending to the "unfinished" adults who live in "herds".
