Topic: [APPROVED] Tag alias: female_frisk_(undertale) -> frisk_(undertale)

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag alias #71259 female_frisk_(undertale) -> frisk_(undertale) has been approved.

Reason: Just a tag for, as the name suggests... Female Frisk. Shouldn't be a separate tag.

EDIT: The tag alias female_frisk_(undertale) -> frisk_(undertale) (forum #408236) has been approved by @spe.

So what's the proper way to tag R63'd characters with canonical ambiguous_gender?

well, there is nonbinary_(lore) but that might not be what you're looking for.

I mean, we could potentially do ?tx_crossgender but the problem is that it's kind of a hard-to-define line when a character is "canonically" ambiguous. because there's both non-binary characters as well as sort of "Schrödinger's Gender"-type deals (which I believe would describe Frisk).

and then there are also nulls, which is a separate thing which would probably require another seperate crossgender tag... maybe? because null's, like, weird and it might not be possible to create coherent crossgender tags related to it.

Danbooru uses otf (other to female), etc. genderswap, but I don't really think it's super necessary to tag ambiguous gender characters given genders as crossgender?

I feel like it's just to broad of a concept to work, really. like, defining what characters are canonically ambiguous would be difficult; is kirby canonically ambiguous? the games (localizations at least) always refer to him with masculine pronouns, but he's also like, some kind of supernatural being of pure positive emotions born of void, so... what *_crossgender tags would apply to him?

we could maybe have tags related to de-nullification, but it'd probably need to be seperate from crossgender. but again, Frisk isn't a null, so.
