I have created a gif version of one of my favorite flash animations for personal use, as i can't view flash animations on my phone. Should i upload the gif for other people with the same problem, and if so, how do i give proper credit to the creator, as it's not my work?

Yeah those are usually fine (provided they are good enough quality to begin with). Just note that the artist is the one that gets tagged, not whoever just converted it into a gif.

I don't know what Android has, but for playing flash on iOS I've heard Puffin is pretty good (I've only used Photon, but it's a paid app and not very good).

Edit: Oh, hey it looks like it works for webm as well. I never knew that. :3

alright, thanks guys. I have tried puffin, but it's a paid app if you want to use it during certain time periods and it's pretty slow. Gif files just work on every system and i prefer them over swf files.
