Do we need a "back wings" tag when the default for wings on anthros is assumed to be coming from the back? I think wings -winged_arms accomplishes the same thing, pretty much.

are they, though? looking at anthro birds and anthro bats (ignoring Rouge) it seems like a pretty even split, at least even enough to not call one the "default".

Why do none of these tags imply wings?

I wouldn't say they're an even split, solo anthro bird winged_arms has about 1/3rd the results as solo anthro bird wings -winged_arms

Although I think a lot of the results in winged_arms are either not winged arms or feather hands instead. Point taken, though, there's more diversity than I thought.

that would require alot more exclusions. There are also butt_wings, head_wings, feather_Hands(also visually and functionally still wings at the same time more than half the time), among many others..

Wings on back and back wings don’t imply wings, but butt wings does 😭
