I think I'd lean towards using blacklight as the tag name, it's already the most populated of these and it's also the term that seems to be preferred elsewhere as well, with that also being the word Wikipedia uses.

I feel that blacklight has a stronger association with porn and club scenarios though a specific kind of device that produces UV radiation, while uv_light and ultraviolet_light are describing just the waveform and can be referring anything from sanitization devices to the light from the sun. Because I don't see those last two examples being very relevant on e621, I think blacklight is the best one to alias all these tags to.

I agree.

The tags are referencing the blue/purple light that make things look neon. UV/ultraviolet also contains invisible light, (which can't even be tagged, because it's never visible), the blacklight portion is the only part that's visible, so it makes sense to alias to blacklight.

Added uv_light -> blacklight to the bur.

There’s a difference between a reptile UV light and a blacklight. I think we should keep that distinction somehow.

That's true, but images of that, if they exist, are not tagged uv_light or ultraviolet_light. Or blacklight. Or heat_lamp. I actually couldn't find an image depicting one.
Idk, it looks like if images of uv lamps used in animal husbandry and gardening are posted here they're either untagged or using a different tag.

In before someone says UV is by definition not TWYS (joke, obviously, it's not a color for the purposes of tagging).
