Aliasing xeanica → xeánica
Link to alias

Reason:

Convenience. Akin to "Pokemon -> Pokémon".

All instances of the character are already tagged with the accented "A", Xeánica. But searching for Xeanica currently yields no results and does not offer "Xeánica" as a suggestion. This makes searching for the character unduly difficult.

Updated

+1 on this, expecting the average user to type an accented character would be dumb.

Seems simple enough. Quick question, is that actually a Las Lindas character? The tags seem to show this, but I tried googling it but the first two results were e621, the second this thread. :|

Xeanica is a long-time character of Chalosan's that predates Las Lindas as early as 2001. I remember seeing her for as long as Geecku has been around.

Geecku is cast in Las Lindas, Xeanica is not. http://laslindas.katbox.net/cast/ But both Xeanica and Geecku are cast as two of "The 12 Crests" in a side-comic(?) on the Las Lindas website, "The Crest Diaries" (slow-progressing, apparently abandoned), but do not make an appearance in what it presented thus far. http://laslindas.katbox.net/crest-diaries/archive/

Geecku is in Las Lindas, Xeanica is not. But Xeanica is tagged as such either by a long-time close association with Geecku or for appearing on the Las Lindas website in a non-LL(?) comic.

A bit of an issue with such character-recycling is that it causes them to become tagged with a "franchise/copyright" that they may not necessarily be depicted in. "Yes, X is in Y but she it not from Y and also non-canonically appears in Z but we'll tag her with Y anyway even though this picture doesn't indicate whether she's in Y, Z, or neither".

I think e621 is the only place where she is (erroneously) tagged as being in Las Lindas.
However, there are images of Xeanica that are specifically marked with "Las Lindas":

Maybe Chalosan decided that the name of the comic "Las Lindas" is now also the name of his universe.
