Topic: [APPROVED] Tag implication: hindpaw -> feet

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag implication #64445 hindpaw -> feet has been approved.

Reason: Several existing implications already establish that hindpaws are feet (e.g. foot_focus, barefoot or footjob are used on hindpaws) so it makes sense for hindpaw to imply it directly.

See also topic #23560 which received unanimous support of 10 upvotes but got rejected due to the mass purge of pending requests.

EDIT: The tag implication hindpaw -> feet (forum #415755) has been approved by @spe.

I think it should probably be aliased. It seems largely to just mean feet for non-human(oid) characters, maybe but not necessarily being digitigrade or having pawpads.

I thought it was to differentiate from handpaws under the wider paw umbrella

Wouldn't necessarily be opposed to aliasing though - but then again i'm really not the target audience lol. would love to hear from feet/paws fans

I figured handpaw was a paw-like hand, one that lacks (or has very minimal use of) thumbs, and has thicker, stubbier fingers. I don't like paw that much either since it's largely just a furry term for hands (forepaw) and feet (hindpaw) on non-human(oid)s, including regular looking humanoid hands and feet on anthros.

If it's tagged on humanoid feet that's wrong. Granted, there's crossover and grey area:

...but stuff like this should definitely not be tagged 'paws':

This should be debated in its own thread. Hindpaw is currently a well-established tag, so the current request is valid, but it can always be aliased away later if there's support for it.
