Topic: Been wanting to change my artist tag. But going to edit the tag gives me a blank page.

This is all I can see: https://imgur.com/a/9NVZeqN
I am not sure if it is intentional and I don't have necessary rights despite being the artist in question or it's a bug. The page doesn't exactly say anything to make that clear.

Thought I'd finally change it to Rousal since that is what I go by on like every site except FA because name changes still were not implemented, but no luck.

all editing a tag does is change the catagory of the tag, (which is locked for normal users to change after it gains 100 posts, even for artists) and you cannot change the name of a tag since the name IS the tag

you'll have to change out all art with the old tag with an entirelly new one to replace it, either automatically via an alias request like what the lovely quenir did for you, or manually swap the all out

Appreciate the info and thanks Quenir for sending the bulk change request! Definitely didn't expect it to be all solved for me like that.

There is also the fact that Rousal is an artist alias AND a character, but I assume that one is easy to solve by just creating a new character tag so I can do that myself, I think they won't conflict since it's two different categories right?

You'll have to make another tag for the character (for example, by suffixing the character tag to be something like rousal_(rousal) or rousal_(character)), because tags are not restricted by category (you can change their category after the tag is populated)

Okay, gonna note that for when I get to it!
