Topic: Specific diaper post seemingly skirting blacklist?

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

I'm currenly trying to reference wizard clothing and robes and used the tag to sift through some image uploads when I noticed a post in the pool that shouldn't be even from the outset. I already have the diaper tag blacklisted but I've since added more tags up to and including the post id to the blacklist and it's still visible. I figure this is some kind of site bug.

The post in question already has diaper tagged when it was first uploaded, so either it is an actual site bug or you are not using your blacklist correctly.

What does your actual blacklist look like?

I took a quick look and noticed one small thing. To blacklist something by id you need to make sure there's no spaces between the id: part and the number part. So copy this exactly for that line in your blacklist, and it should fix that line: id:4973005

Also, read the very bottom section on this page https://e621.net/wiki_pages/1008 about blacklist 'quick toggles' to make sure you have not accidentally clicked it off. It can easily happen and is one of the more common reasons for a blacklist to suddenly seem to stop working.

One or both of these things should help a little bit.

I don't think they're trying to blacklist by id, and this is only a small bandaid for the problem. Also you're an admin you can look at their blacklist to see what went wrong. If there isn't anything visible wrong its either a disabled blacklist or zero width character/latin alphabet lookalike
