I thought we no longer aliased to invalid_tag and just used the invalid tag category nowadays?
I believe that this tag is mostly meant to be used in a situation similar to accidental_impregnation or unwanted_impregnation but without actually showing impregnation itself. might need a rename and/or to have its wikipage changed to reflect this, but the situation seems tagable enough.
As someone who contributed to the wiki for this tag... it gets mistagged a lot, but I believe this tag is trying to portray something similar to unwanted_cum_inside but with impregnation tacked on as a reason/risk, unfortunately it often gets conflated with cum_inside. I think the situation is relatively common and taggable just like profanity and begging_for_more is taggable.
I'd like to bring attention to the pregnancy_risk tag which seriously needs some cleanup, or needs to be aliased to impregnation_risk or something similar, since the wiki definition of pregnancy_risk doesn't apply to a lot of the posts it gets tagged onto.

Isn't that basically any time it's unwanted_cum_inside+cum_in_pussy? It really seems like this tag can end up on any post where there's a logical potential of impregnation/pregnancy, which is basically any straight sex (and/or with intersex).

A pregnancy risk isn't necessary unwanted.
This seems like a tag for people with an impregnation fetish to slap on any cum_in_pussy pic they enjoy.

No, there are still valid reasons to alias to invalid_tag. It's the garbage bin for when there's no possible alternative tag you could replace it with.

I feel there's a meaningful difference, for posts that can't be tagged impregnation but feature it as an identifiable theme, though I will admit it seems to get tacked on a lot to pictures where impregnation doesn't seem to be a theme at all. Then again, so do the dominant_* tags, scatplay, even impregnation itself... example
Take the STD tag as an example, it's often mistagged, but for people who are grossed out by STDs and "pozzing" as a theme, or for people who want to be able to find content like that, it can be indispensible. It's often only stated through dialogue, but it's still a theme.
Of course, you could argue that the wiki for impregnation covers impregnation_risk since it says "further evidence" of impregnation can be "through dialogue where the character is saying that they will become pregnant (occasionally due to various reasons) as a result of it." If you agree with that, a better target for impregnation_risk would be impregnation, and I'd probably roll up pregnancy_risk and risk_of_pregnancy as well while you're at it. But I'd prefer to keep it as a separate tag, for cases where impregnation isn't explicitly stated or shown (like with the common "sperm cells around an ovum" cutaway panel), but can be identified as a theme or risk.
