The tag alias #72285 roxythefoxy -> roxyfoxycomics is pending approval.

Reason: A new artist has arrived on e621 that goes by RoxyTheFoxy, and I'd like to switch to RoxyFoxyComics to reduce ambiguity. It is my brand name, soon to be trademarked.

My account is currently verified as the official uploader for "RoxyTheFoxy", and when changed to RoxyFoxyComics I'd like the verification attached to the new artist tag.

The other artist "Roxy The Foxy" have the following posts, and are not mine:

I don’t feel like an alias would fix that, because it would still make it an issue. Because if anyone tags the other artist as roxythefoxy it’s going to Alias over to roxyfoxycomics and thus still be in your gallery.

That’s a pretty shitty situation you’re in though that sucks. Maybe they should just be roxythefoxy_(twitter/x) ?

I am not particularly enthused about that option.
However there aren't that many options to take. The nuclear option is disambiguating roxythefoxy.

Yeah I don’t like it either, just said it as an option because I have no clue what else to do. Between a rock and a hard place.

They seem to use roxythefoxy__ as their handle, so maybe it could be roxythefoxy_(roxythefoxy_) (you can't have consecutive underscores unfortunately

Disambiguating might be the best option.

To be fair recently a janitor told me the best name for an artist was giga_(pixiv_id_4421144) which I find an absolute horror of a name lol. So who knows anymore

With the saturation of possible names, there is a ton of compromises to be made and the choices are horrific either way. The pixiv id method is at least decent for searchability, despite how horrible it looks
