Wow cool I hate these tags.

Different names because nobody likes having their art labeled as incorrect

-1 neutral because I'd prefer to reverse it, to match anatomically_inaccurate

Edit: changed to neutral

Honestly I don't really think the direction matters. It needs a rename and maybe some definition tweaking. But until that happens, everything synonymous just needs to get rounded up.

I feel that anatomically_accurate (and anatomically_inaccurate, FWIW) come across as more strict than "anatomically_correct". In my mind, anatomically_accurate would exclude (and anatomically_inaccurate would include) things like hyper genitals, or stylized misshaped genitals that are clearly trying to be species-matched but look rather off.

Then again, I'm not the biggest fan of "anatomically_correct" either, especially now that it can apply to some fictional species. People often use it to mean non-human genitals, particularly in the realm of anthros where there's absolutely nothing to say animal genitalia is any more "correct" for them than human genitalia. Unless anthros exist naturally IRL, there's nothing to say what's correct for them. The term "anatomically correct" came to be used in furry art to distinguish art that had animal genitalia instead of humanoid genitalia (regardless of actual correctness or matching of species), stuff we already have tags for. That anatomically_correct explicitly doesn't apply to humanoid genitalia (even when on human(oid)s) also leans into this interpretation, which makes its utility questionable.
